In 2023, CLAC retained the services of Firedog Communications to develop engagement and communication strategies with northern and Indigenous communities and people. CLAC is a modern, progressive multi-trade union with growing membership in the north.

In July 2024, Firedog Communications invited the team at CLAC to visit Thunder Bay to learn more about life and work in the north. During their visit, Firedog coordinated engagements with key community leaders and organizations, and organized a photo shoot with Epica Pictures as they toured the city.
